Prof. Gao is with the college of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering, Chongqing. He is mainly engaged in research on the key technologies of ICV, and also serves as an expert in IVISITA and Chief Expert of the Intelligent Software Innovation Center of WICV. He has been leading and mainly participating in more 50 national, provincial, ministerial and enterprise projects, published more 110 papers and applied for 31 patents. He has received the first prize in provincial level science and technology twice, the second prize fourth and third prize once.

重庆大学机械与运载工程学院教授，博导，主要从事智能网联汽车相关技术研究。兼任中国智能汽车指数专家，西部智联智能软件创新中心首席专家。近年承担各类项目50多项（国家级5项，省部级20项），发表学术论文110余篇（5篇ESI高被引），申请发明专利等31项（16项授权），获省部级一等奖2次、二等奖4次、三等奖1次。
